Living in a major city such as Phoenix, you can imagine that there are a plethora of things to do. For starters, you have vibrant and multicultural urban centers throughout the area. Many residents like to check out the historic and wide-ranging Grand Avenue. Here, you can explore one of the oldest commercial districts in Phoenix. There are wineries, art studios, and extraordinary architecture that sets the city apart from the rest of the country. Phoenix is also home to many local farms and agricultural companies. You can also take a ride through the Phoenix Zoo and see most of the animals from the safety of your own car. If you ever get a chance, you should also spend a day traversing the Indiana Bend Wash Greenbelt. It’s an 11-mile stretch of scenic pathways that begin at Tempe Beach Park and end at Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale. There are plenty of city parks that are perfect for an afternoon picnic, including Papago, Encanto, Civic Space Park, and Hance Park.
